Mohammed Al Fahad

A Bahraini entrepreneur, investor and filmmaker working where business, technology and entertainment converge. He founded Hollyoud Ventures in 2020 and leads it today, developing original franchises, representing international IP across the GCC, and producing for brands and companies in the region.

Mohammed Al Fahad is a Bahraini entrepreneur, investor and filmmaker working at the intersection where business, technology and entertainment converge.

He began his career in California as a teaching assistant in quantitative business analysis at the University of San Francisco, or, as he calls it, the art of decision making, before returning to Bahrain and building a career in business development and strategic partnerships spanning real estate, construction and technology. He has also built and invested in technology ventures of his own. After more than a decade of structuring commercial projects, negotiating deals, working with institutions and regulators, managing investments and delivering results, he set out to build something different. He calls it legacy.

In 2020 he founded Hollyoud Ventures to manage his own original IP and productions, and has since built it into a media services and development company: original franchises in development, a production house delivering for regional and international clients, and the technical infrastructure the Gulf’s creative industry needs to grow. He works on both sides of the business, as a filmmaker who writes, directs and performs, and as the producer and investor who structures the commercial side.

He is also a martial artist and a Taekwondo gold medallist at the Berkeley Open in 2012, and a third-generation practitioner of Jeet Kune Do in Bruce Lee’s lineage, trained under Dr. Zee Lo at Tiger Gym in San Francisco. Its discipline and philosophy shape how he works and how he performs on screen.

Today he leads Hollyoud Ventures, building the IP, the partnerships and the infrastructure to elevate the region’s presence on the global stage, and to lay a foundation the next generation can build on.
